On Saturday, February 6th, Jewls participated in the UIL (University Interscholastic League) Art History Competition. Five fourth-graders represented Independence Elementary School at this district-wide event. The group prepared for several months ahead of time and of the five from her school, 4 placed in the top 10. Jewls placed 5th and got a medal! Way to go!
