New sofa from Ikea fits perfectly in this room. Someday there will be a very large painting on the wall behind it...maybe something with peacocks.
Pillows: the middle one matches the curtain in the kitchen. Love the peacock pillow...found it at Target.
New chairs from Ikea and our "wrought iron" railing which we love.
The fireplace...need some different artwork.
The curtain and valance we made for the kitchen which covers the window and the door to the backyard. It is 9 ft. high and 10 ft. wide. The kitchen table may be the next project. And someday, we will find or make an appropriate sized light for this space - it is 20' high.
Fabric covered bulletin boards that we made.
New bedding and pillows. Haven't decided what color to paint the walls.
