The school year is wrapping up fast….only one more week. The last day is Wednesday, June 3rd. The girls are ready for summer, but feel that the school year went very fast. AJ’s class had a Science Expo, and AJ’s photo made the front page of the local paper.

Spring has been busy with soccer. Jim and Uncle Barry are coaching AJ’s team, the Aftershock. Jules is playing on a team called the Firebirds. There are tournament games this weekend, and then we are done for the Spring season. Jules was invited to play on an indoor soccer team and has enjoyed that. It is much more fast-paced than outdoor.
Last weekend, Uncle Barry and Aunt Kate hosted an end-of-season barbeque at their house for the Aftershock. It was a bit rainy, but that didn’t stop the kids from enjoying the pool (which was overflowing with kids and excess rainwater). Wish we had taken some photos, but everyone had a great time.
