Garden Update

Our backyard has it's first garden resident: Sophora affinis (Eve's Necklace). It is a Texas native tree that should get to be about 20 feet high and 12 feet wide. The leaf is similar to a locust. Here is a photo of our tree...

This is a photo from the internet of what the seed pods and flowers will look like.

Another photo of what the flowers will look like.

The hydrangea in the front are actually blooming! We also planted some begonias and a confederate jasmine vine (which smells like gardenia). The front porch is only a few feet away, so hopefully the scent will waft over.

the Eve's necklace almost looks like a sweet pea flower. Really unusual. Looks good. How are you all?
