Garden Evolution

Starting point...

Removing the bermuda grass lawn.

The bobcat broke the sprinkler lines and the snow melted...yuck, what a mess.

After the french drain was installed...edging in place.

Decomposed granite walkway.

Soil and mulch delivery...I can't believe I moved the whole thing!

Still analyzing the draining issues.

Starting to look like a garden!

Herb garden in the foreground...future vegetable garden in the far back corner. Wax myrtle and eve's necklace tree.

Red banana plants on the left, hollywood juniper on the right against the fence. Still need a plant in front of the right window...thinking about a possumhaw holly.

The tree in the center of the circle is a loquat, and there is a mexican plum tree just off the porch.
