The following recipe has been passed down from Jim’s grandmother to Jim’s mother, and now it is a dish that we prepare on a fairly regular basis. It is affectionately called “Spaghetti Stuff”. We are soliciting ideas for a better name. In the meantime, try this out. It’s even better re-heated the next day.
Brown these together all at once:
1 lb ground beef
1 large green pepper chopped
(the dish gets its flavor from the green pepper, so don’t skimp)
1 onion chopped
Add:
1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
1 can kidney beans (15 oz)
½ lb cooked pasta
(Grandma used spaghetti noodles, but we like to use the Barilla mini penne)
Mix together and serve. It was traditionally eaten with rye bread and butter - don't know why.
If you have a better name, leave a comment! Please! Thanks.

I like the simplicity of "spaghetti stuff"... short and to the point. Wouldn't change it!
